Sip Til Send: Minimising fluid fasting times for our patients

In this, episode, consultant anaesthetic Dr Matthew Checketts from Ninewells Hospital Dundee, Scotland joins to share the initiative he’s been pioneering called the Sip Til Send policy which aims to reduce fluid fasting times for surgical patients in hospital. Anaesthetist and intensivist Dr Sean McManus from the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital in Queensland also joins to discuss the clinical potential of this approach.
