1. Physiotherapy intervention early and as intense as possible.

2. Coordinated care is best. Look for opportunities to mobilise your patients

3. Enhance hip fracture recovery after discharge from hospital

4. Take care with progressing patients with hemiarthroplasty fixation performed via a lateral approach

5. The latest evidence tells us physio expertise is valuable after hip fracture including in the post-discharge phase
